Oh Yeah,

Finally I have updated my blog,

After so long,

Going to be 2 months in just a few more days,

Sorry Tuan tuan dan Puan puan,

I just got my Internet few days ago,

After I have been 1 and half months in this new place,

U see the system here,

I mean my hostel's system,

Cepat betul rite...

and now is 7:17pm(Moscow time),

I have been here for almost two months,

As I was here on the 1st of October 2010.

Your question: How was ur life here?

My answer: It is getting better and better...

Not the first few weeks I was in Moscow,

the few weeks were totally SPEACHLESS...

WHY?

1st thing,me and my friends get a brand new hostel...don't miss understood,brand new here means we are the ONLY MALAYSIANS at this hostel,STUDENTCHESKAYA...

NO senior here.

How sad it is(this is what I think during the 1st few weeks)

AND

MY ROOM IS TOO CRAMPED!

4 people in a small room,I mean 4 guys.

HOW TO SURVIVE???

Yet,

we still alive till today.

MY ROOMMATES are awesome..

One is my buddy since college,

One is from Taiwan,

And,

One more is our big brother,since he is 23 years old,

He already got a degree,now getting second degree here to be a Doctor.

How're mt other friends?

Oh Yeah,they are all awesome,

Guys and Girls...

We spent all happy and sad time together.

This is what friends are right,haha

We stay unite together,

as we are only 17Malaysians here at this hostel.

Stay Happy together evyday...

And had birthday celebration too to birthday girl...

It was yesterday...

It was SUPER DUPER NICE...

AS we had a lot of food,

TIll our stomach is going to burst! haha

How life in school?

Erm,

ONE thing I have to say,

I have never went thru so many exams in just two months after 18 years I had been on this EARTH.

Every week there are 2 or three colloqs.

And we have to pass all the colloqs in order for us to take the second colloq and so on.

Mean,

we have to study hard.

HAHA,

U know what,every one seems to not care much about colloq le,

just continue enjoying our life...xD

ANYWAY,

1个大马 国庆日庆典

2010年的国庆日庆典因適逢齋戒月，

首次移師到室內體育館舉行，

在熱鬧與歡愉氣氛下圓滿舉行，成功寫下建國以來最能帶出國慶主題和意義的歷史篇章。

今年室内的国庆日庆典，

勝在節目編排緊湊，內容札實及主題鮮明，成功突顯首相拿督斯里納吉的“一個馬來西亞”治國理念，

國慶慶典於上午7時45分左右，

在首相納吉和夫人拿汀斯里羅斯瑪，以及國家元首端姑米占再納阿比丁及元首後端姑諾查希拉相繼抵達後，正式奏國歌，拉開慶典序幕。

軍警步操自衛術耳目一新

主辦單位今年專注在制服團體的表演，通過國防衛隊海陸空三軍、警方防恐部隊與大馬海事機構的表演者為現場觀眾呈獻花式步操和精彩的自衛術，令人耳目一新。參與表演的制服團體總共有2023人。

為了配合53年和表達“一個大馬”的特色，當局特地安排了53名男女老少各自穿著傳統民族服裝和政府各部門機構的制服，集體宣讀國家原則。

此外，由國家文化及藝術局負責總協調的“一個馬來西亞推動轉型”特別表演，集合了8727人分成8個不同的部份與段落演出，皆以首相納吉所提倡的“一個大馬”精神及落實的計劃為基礎，即“一個大馬理念”、第十大馬計劃、國家關鍵成效領域、創意與革新、新經濟模式、國家成就、反應快捷；以及愛國歌曲。

逾萬人參與今年國慶慶典，現場座無虛席。儘管場館有冷氣設備，但後來在節目尾聲愛國歌曲大合唱，群眾和表演者的投入感，加上各族人民揮動“輝煌條紋”而展現一片旗海的壯觀場面，氣氛熾熱。

最激昂的國慶慶典
首次移師室內的國慶慶典，掀起了大馬傳統國慶慶典的革命。在五彩燈光的照射下，加上振奮人心的音樂，觀眾都忘我的投入在精彩的表演中。其中一些環節，觀眾及表演者甚至手持熒光棒隨歌搖擺，場面沸騰至極點，堪稱大馬史上最激昂的國慶慶典。

最舒服的國慶慶典
在室內的這場慶典，在為時約2小時的表演中，觀眾及表演者無需再頂著炎炎的艷陽，舒服的在冷氣室內觀賞表演。少了戰機表演及花車大遊行，多了精彩的1個馬來西亞特別演出，觀眾自在的享受了一場另類的文化大匯演。

最高科技的國慶慶典
有別於過去在吉隆坡獨立廣場舉行的國慶慶典，週二這裡有強勁的音樂、有七彩璀璨的雷射燈光效果、還有防恐部隊利用繩子從空繩降的特技效果等，算是最高科技的一場國慶慶典。

最火紅的字眼
由節目開始至結束，“1Malaysia”的字眼就不絕於耳，從宣誓到壓軸節目，都穿插了“1Malaysia”的字眼，今年的國慶就屬它最紅！

HAVING a drop of whiskey can help reduce the risk of cancer according to the latest report on the health benefits of moderate alcohol consumption.
The suggestion that the odd drop of mature Scotch malt might be taken partly, if not purely, for medicinal purposes was offered at the opening of a scientific conference in Glasgow yesterday by -- you've guessed it -- a consultant to the whiskey industry.

Previous claims have been made for whiskey's help in protecting against heart disease, but Jim Swan suggested that its antioxidants, in the form of ellagic acid, worked to cut the risk of cancer too, by waging war on the unstable free radical atoms or molecules that hastened the need for cell replication. The more cells were replicated, the more chance of developing rogue cancer cells, he said.

Whiskey's health benefits might be greater than red wine's, despite the latter's far better-known reputation, he claimed.

"Single malt whiskies have more ellagic acid than red wine. Ellagic acid is a highly effective free radical scavenger that absorbs or eats up rogue cells that occur in our bodies during eating," he said.

"The free radicals can break down the DNA structure of our existing cells, which then leads to the risk of the body making replacement rogue cancer cells. So whether you indulge in the odd tipple, or you are a serious connoisseur, whiskey can protect you from cancer and science proves it," he said.

Swan, who is currently assisting four new distillery start-ups, was speaking to the EuroMedlab conference hosted by the Association of Clinical Biochemists.

"We are talking about the odd dram. I am not talking about a bottle a day," he said, adding that the effect would be greater in well-aged whisky rather than a cheap blend.

Cancer Research UK warns that drinking too much can increase the risk of developing cancers of the mouth, throat, esophagus, liver and bowel.

"We are very concerned that whiskey is being promoted as a cancer prevention agent in the absence of population data to support it. On the contrary, there is considerable data documenting the link between drinking excess alcohol and the increased risk of cancers, particularly in smokers," said Lesley Walker, the charity's head of cancer information.



So,drink more if you love it,

MoonCake

Mooncake festival is almost here this year,

It's on 22nd of September 2010,

Love to eat mooncake?

But the price of mooncake outside is getting higher and higher every year == ,

Let's make one then,

With your family members, friends, or cousins =)

Ingredients
Lotus paste:
600g lotus seed
1 tsp alkaline water
600g sugar
1 tbsp maltose
400g groundnut oil

Syrup:
600g sugar
400g water
3 slices lemon

Mooncake skin:
600g flour
600g syrup
140g groundnut oil
1 tsp alkaline water

Method:
Cover lotus seeds with boiling water and add alkaline water. Cover container for 20 minutes. Rub the skin off the lotus seeds, then drain and wash them in clean water.

Cover the seeds again with water and boil until soft. Blend seeds into a paste.

In a non-stick wok or saucepan, heat up 200g oil and 300g sugar and cook until mixture turns into the colour of golden caramel.

Pour in lotus paste and continue stirring. Add the remaining oil and sugar. Cook until the paste thickens and doesn’t stick to the sides of the wok or pan. Add maltose and stir for a while.

To test if the paste is ready, scoop a little into your hand and flatten it. If it doesn’t feel sticky, the paste is ready. Dish out the paste and leave to cool.

To make syrup: Put sugar, water and lemon slices into a saucepan. Boil over a slow fire until golden brown. Discard the lemon slices. Cool sufficiently before use.

To make mooncake skin: Mix flour, syrup, oil and alkaline water and knead until elastic. Set aside for three hours. Divide the dough into 15 equal portions.

The final step: Take a portion of the dough and roll into a thin circular piece. Take a 150g ball of lotus paste and wrap with the mooncake skin.

Dust a mooncake mould with flour. Press the dough with filling into the mould. Tap lightly to demould.

Grease baking tray and bake mooncakes in oven at 220°c for about 20 to 30 minutes.

For a glossy sheen, bake the mooncakes for about 10 minutes, then brush them with egg wash and continue to bake until golden brown.
